The Customer & The Goal

GWAR is an iconic metal band that's been around since 1984. Each band member uses an alias that illustrates the band's dark humor and performs in unique costumes of latex and paper-mâché.

Thanks to the band's ingenuity, killer music, and entertaining stage presence, they've cultivated a fanbase of collectors. When GWAR approached Fanaply they wanted to offer a brand new way for their fans to collect their artwork, get more information on who their top fans were, and create a new revenue stream within their existing Shopify store.

Our Solution

GWAR partnered with Fanaply to launch their debut NFT collection. It included three different NFTs featuring music and digital art created by Matt Maguire of GWAR. The band’s Shopify store carried out the transaction and seamlessly integrated with the Fanaply backend to deliver the NFTs. A three-tier pricing strategy created options and equity for GWAR fans alike.
